Enriched Sourdough Bread
These enriched sourdough breads have fat, sugar, eggs, or milk (sometimes, all of the above!) added to the dough. While you can make bread with just the basic ingredients of flour, water, and salt, you can get a completely different type of bread just by enriching the dough. Enriched breads are typically softer, more richly flavored, and also have a longer shelf life.
Some staple enriched sourdough bread recipes to try are these crispy overnight sourdough discard waffles, the sourdough sweet molasses brown bread, and this show stopping sourdough nutella babka that makes the BEST breakfast toasted and slathered in butter!
